Time to focus!

 I recently took a quiz on Instagram and it said I was an unheard Entrepreneur. Not all of the quizzes results applied to me but enough people would probably get this result that sharing it would be helpful. 

Your content is too broad

What I see a lot of unheard entrepreneurs do is attempt to create content that everyone else in their industry is already doing. And if that's you let me ask, if you are doing what everyone else is...how do you expect to stand out? 

Creating content that is already popular in your industry, or coming up with generalized topics, or information that your audience can google or look up on YouTube and found dozens or even hundreds of videos about means your content is way too broad. 

You believe 'adding value' is through educational content

This is the MOST COMMON mistake I see for all levels of entrepreneurs, especially at this level, How-To, Educational, and information-based content is not the only way to add value to your audience. It's NOT the only way to add value to your audience . It's NOT the only way to establish yourself as an authority figure. 

In fact, it's one of the worst ways. Because how-to content is everywhere. Everyone is doing it. Everyone is teaching, The online world is FILLED with free, step by step.

You are afraid to stand out

If you already know how crowded your space is you're struggling to see true growth then you likely already know that you need to stand out more. Doing so means going against the grain, being polarizing, and talking about things in a way no one else is talking about them.  

    While I am not an entrepreneur per se. I can't help but think my focus for the sake of this blog is a smidge broad. That is to say, you join me in this first season of my hobby. As I experiment and try all the new things! I even have something on the way that will be a lot of fun to experiment with! The next season shall be one of finding what kind of photography I like and honing my focus.
